New Provider Orientation
“Excellence in Aging”
Congratulations! You have reached the final step of the ADvantage contract process. To complete the process of becoming a certified ADvantage Program provider, you will need to attend this training.
What is it about?
The orientation is the final step in becoming a certified ADvantage Program provider. Topics covered during the orientation include:
- Role of the Medicaid Services Unit
- DHS Website
- Roles of the ADvantage Service Providers
- Referral Process
- Service Plan Development and Authorizations
- Reimbursement Process
- Audit Process
- Harmony Process
- Open Forum for Q&A’s
Who should attend?
Each agency should bring two to three representatives, specific to those described in the bulletin you received. These representatives should be those that have training and supervisory oversight responsibility for agency staff.
Why should I attend?
This is mandatory training to become an ADvantage Program provider. Failure to attend will indicate your agency is no longer interested in becoming a provider of the ADvantage Program and will not be able to provide services through the ADvantage Program.
